This Privacy Policy explains how Blutik (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal data when you use the Blutik mobile application and website at blutik.fan (collectively, the “Platform”).
Blutik is a fan engagement platform that enables users to participate in quiz contests, create and share posts and short videos, join communities, exchange direct messages, make voice calls, and earn rewards.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform worldwide. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under local data protection laws described in Section 10.
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Our servers are located in India. If you are located outside India, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in India.

- DMs visible only to you and recipient
- Contest videos visible only to Blutik staff

- Hosting/CDN (all stored data)
Each provider is bound by a Data Processing Agreement.

We may disclose data when required by valid court order or government directive.

If involved in merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred.

8. International Data Transfers

- For EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland: Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)

- For all others: by using Platform you consent to transfer to India
9. Data Retention
- Account data: until you delete account
- Posts/comments: until you delete them or account
- DMs: until you delete them or account
- Contest scores: until you delete account
- Contest videos: 90 days after results
- Server logs: 90 days
- Analytics (if opted in): anonymized after 12 months
- Terminated accounts: 180 days then deleted
After account deletion: data deleted within 30 days, backups within 90 days.

10.2 India (DPDPA)
Right to summary of data, correction/erasure, nominate another individual. Response within 90 days. Complaint to Data Protection Board of India.
10.3 EU/EEA/UK (GDPR)
Right of access, rectification, erasure, data portability (JSON), restrict processing, object to processing, rights re automated decisions. Response within 30 days. Complaint to local Data Protection Authority.
10.4 California (CCPA/CPRA)
Right to know, delete, opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell), non-discrimination.

Similar rights to Section 10.4.
10.6 Brazil (LGPD)
Confirmation, access, correction, anonymization/blocking/deletion, portability, info about shared entities, revoke consent. Complaint to ANPD.
10.7 Canada (PIPEDA)
Know why collected, access, challenge accuracy, withdraw consent. Complaint to Privacy Commissioner.
10.8 Australia
Access, correction, complain about breaches. Complaint to OAIC.
10.9 South Africa (POPIA)
Access, correction/deletion, object to processing. Complaint to Information Regulator.

11. Children's Privacy
Not designed for children under 13.
- India (DPDPA): child is under 18, requires parental consent
- US (COPPA): parental consent for under 13
- EU (GDPR): varies by member state (13–16)
- Brazil (LGPD): requires parental consent
Contact privacy@blutik.fan if your child provided data without consent.
12. Automated Content Moderation
AI systems detect inappropriate content (nudity, spam, abusive language). Content flagged by automated systems is reviewed by human moderators. High-confidence explicit material may be temporarily hidden pending review. Appeal decisions at grievance@blutik.fan.
13. Cookies and Tracking
Mobile app does not use cookies. Website may use essential cookies only. No advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing pixels.
14. Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Blutik does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
15. Grievance Officer (India)
Per IT Rules 2021. Email: grievance@blutik.fan. Acknowledge within 24 hours, resolve within 15 days (72 hours for content showing private areas, sexual acts, or impersonation).
16. Data Breach Notification
- India: notify Data Protection Board without undue delay
- EU/EEA/UK: notify authority within 72 hours
- Brazil: notify ANPD and data subjects promptly
- US: notify per state breach notification laws
- All others: as required by applicable law
17. Changes to This Policy
Material changes communicated through the app with re-acceptance required. Minor wording changes update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use = acceptance. Disagree = stop using and delete account.
